CONSIDER:
Suppose a national leader was delighted in flatteries or even slanders other political leaders. Then you find out that the same leader has lied every time he opened his mouth, trying to deceive you. With every appointment made, the same type of people with similar flaws in character now leads various departments in his administration. What would you say to that?
Those appointed now serve at his pleasure. By his example, many are corrupt, if not before. Others wanted their positions due to personal interests and a willingness to please the leader and comply with his base desires or state of mind. Their purpose is to keep him content regardless of how foolish or unreasonable such wishes may be. None discharge the duties of their office honorably. Have you seen such a man?
