Our air-conditioning is back in working order! The new circuit board finally arrived, got installed, and the unit is working fine. By the way, remember that sometimes it is the simplistic thing that is the problem and not the more complex.
MAUI FIRES
As reported by ABC News on August 12, the number of dead has reached 80. Property losses are estimated at $5.52 billion by FEMA. There are approximately 1,000 more people unaccounted for at this time. No one has determined the cause of the fires and calls it a naturally caused wildfire. But, according to the U.S. Forest Service, 85% of U.S. wildfires are caused by humans. Natural causes include lightning and volcanic activity, reported by Reuters News. Many residents have been displaced, with over 11,000 with electrical power, cell service, and limited emergency services.
